Issaquah Highland Holistic Retreat | Spokane, WA Landscape Transformations

Tucked into the scenic hillside of Issaquah Highlands, this backyard transformation focused on wellness, natural materials, and year-round enjoyment. Our clients came to us with a vision for a space that could serve both as a restorative retreat and a place to gather with friends and family.

At the heart of the design is a custom-built sauna and matching cold plunge, designed with clean lines and natural finishes to reflect the surrounding landscape. Between them, a natural stone outdoor shower acts as both a visual and experiential centerpiece, enhanced by warm night lighting that brings the space to life after sunset.

To connect the upper wellness area with the entertainment zone below, we built a tiered natural rock staircase that flows seamlessly down the slope. At the base, a large patio opens into a welcoming gathering space, anchored by a handcrafted natural stone gas fire pit. Around it, we added lush plantings, fresh lawn, and a low-maintenance artificial turf putting green, offering a playful touch to this serene setting.
